TSC-Challenge # 77 Theme Anything Goes

This week here at TSC, we have no actual theme other than
anything goes. So for me I decided to go
with a Meljen image about going Back To School.
I will be doing just that very soon. So taking
advantage of every day I have left..
My back ground is from a paper packet called
Grade School by DCWV. The ribbon is from
JoAnn's mini spools.. I used copics on my card and
Stickles on the swirls and stitching..

Hopefully we will see you at our challenge this week
at Tammy's Scrapin Corner for Anything Goes..

PS.- Christmad without Red or Green..

Talk about a tough one.. Christmas is all about
Red and Green. LOL. But I actually was able to do
it.. One of my favorite card makers is Christine Griffith.
I love how she does the White on White cards. But this
was a tutorial that I ran across and thought how cute it
was and decided to make it. So here is my card.
Is this just not the cutest card ever? It took me a couple
of times cutting the shoes out but finally got it..They are made
with the large nestibilities 8 die. Here is the link to her
Youtube posting on how to make this.
So much fun and it was all done with scrap papers
that I had.

I'll be looking for your special card made with
out Red or Green..

PS - The great outdoors

With summer time here everyone is thinking
about camping, fishing, swimming and just being
outside.. We are no different. We love the outdoors.
Fishing is one of my husbands favorite things to do..
So, in honor of him, this is my card for this weeks
challenge at Perfect Sentiments.
I just love this image. It is one I found on
a coloring page on the web. The background
I made with my Tim Holzs ink and a new
tree image that I got on Ebay.. My signs and
fish I copied from a cute out page and then used
my leaf die and cat tails die to add more demention.

I hope you enjoy my outdoor card and will find
your outdoor spitit to create a card for this weeks
challenge at  Perfect Sentiments.

PS.- Your Favorite Technique

This week is all about your favorite techniques here at
a hard one to choose for me as I have several that I
enjoy using.. So for my card this week I chose to do
paper piecing. It's really cool to see a simple stamp or
digi, be transformed by adding paper instead of coloring it.
So here is my card
I have had this flower stamp for a very long time. It is actually
just the outline of a flower and the leaves, so by
stamping it on pattern paper it just turns it into a more
vibrant flower.. My papers are all from my scrap bend.
I added a black Sizzix swirl, a strip of bling and
Trendy Twine down the side.. My sentiment is from
a set of Verve Stamps.

I'll be looking for your favorite technique here at
Perfect Sentiments this week.

Tammy's Scrapin Corner - Challenge # 74 Music..

This week at Tammy's Scrapin Corneris all about music..
When I was making this card is brought back so many memories
of my childhood. Allot of my family members are very
musically inclined and they would have old time
barn gatherings, where everyone would bring their
instruments and play for hours, while we wee ones
would play in the hay .

I made a center step card for this using again another
image (the hay) from Coloring pages on line..
The images are from http://www.qkrstampede.com/.
If you haven't used their images you really should pop
on over and check them out. My images are colored
with Copics, the fence is  cute from a Cottage Cutzs.
I used to different sized sizzix scalloped circle dies
to make my flowers. My sentiment was done on my computer..

I hope my card inspires you to create your own
card to enter into this week challenge at
