TSC- #56 Challenge 4-1-13

Today I am sharing a card from our new sponsor.
OMG what cute images they have.. Make sure
you pop on over and check them out if your
into cute.. Today I have made two cards to share..

Now doesn't this look fun..I used a colored card,
which something I hardly every do.But she just
fit so well on it.. SO, I copied my jar image on
vellum and white card stock twice. I cute the
vellum out and the jar lid from one of the white
card stock prints. So I actually did paper piecing.
Placed my strawberries on the white card stock pattern
and place the vellum pattern over top along with
the lid. The larger strawberry off too the side has
one of Sizzix fun faces on it..
For the  pattern paper, it is just scrap. The white
border is from Martha Stewart .
I hope you enjoy the fun little card.

For my second card I used
this sweet little gal. These are so cute. I love the sentiment
and they make very cute, very quick fabulous little cards with just
the sweetest sentiments..

Hope you will find your happy place and create
something special for this weeks challenge and

Happy Scrapin.

Perfect Sentiments - Babies or Brides

This week were are focusing on my
two favorite things. Babies and Brides.
Our sponsor this week is

I chose the Cherish Bride and Groom image.
For my card I used a 5 x 7 sized card that I
ran through my embossing folder.. I used a
set of doves from Jolene's wedding stickers to
hold up my banner as well as the  ring set at the
bottom. I made two of these and placed the
red heart centers that pop out, into the center of my
white banner to tie in with the red theme.
My center doily is by Spellbinders, the floral sprays are by
Die-namics and the Love is by Savvy Dies.

I hope you enjoy my card this week and will come
for the Brides and Babies Challenge this week,

Happy Craftin

I am entering this card at:

SC Sketch

This week we are working with a sketch..
Haven't done one of those in awhile, so it was fun.
This is the sketch

So for this card I chose to use this image
from the The Stamping Chef called
"Poker Peggy"
She is just the cutest.

She is colored with copic markers. I used a doily for the
scalloped circle and scrap frames. For the flowers, I
used my Martha Stewart flower punch and printed
poker chips out for the centers and topped it off with
a pearl center. The thinking of you sentiment was a
freebie from the net..

I hope you enjoy my take on this weeks card challenge.
We hope to see you over at the

little candy jar from a Terre Cotta Pot
and a small glass jar.

And my sentiment is from

Isn't this just the cutest. It's made from the
2 1/2" pots and matching lids. I painted them
then put a clear coat over the top.
I used an wooden Spool for the lid handle, and
paper butterfly that I distressed with Tim Holts ink,
and a raffia bow to finish it off.

SHUSH! These are gifts for my office staff for
secretaries day.. I'll put their favorite little snack
in the jar, just for them.

My second item is a desk Screen that I made.
This is the backside that my students see.
And this is the side that I see that reminds me that FAMILY
is everything.

Anything goes card

Today I am sharing a card that I made just for fun.
Was looking online for some Flintstone stuff and
found this awesome little pair and just had to make
a card out of it..
I remember watching the Flintstons when I was young and
wanted to get some videos for my Great Grandson. Just
couldn't pass this cute little image up. The bone is hand made
for my sentiment. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the border
and scrap papers for my Center Step card. Bam Bam and Pebbles
were colored with my copics as well a Dino.

I certainly hope that this brings back many childhood
memories for you as well. Now find your crafty
place and create from you past memories.

Happy Scrappin.

I am entering this card in the following challenges.

PS- Challenge Fairies or Butterflies.

Who doesn't like Butterflies and Fairies..I do..
My card this week is about Butterflies.. I am so
ready for summer and the smelling or fresh mowed grasses
and beautiful flowers covered in butterflies..So here
is my card.
Center step cards are becoming my favorite to do.
So, I used a sentiment that says it all.
I used my Martha Stewart border punch and matching
single butterfly punch. I placed a lace doily behind for
added details. Alittle bling and some fancy sizzix
die cuts..
I hope that you will join us over at
with your favorite fairy or butterfly card..

the meaning of it.. So, I had found this fabulous
stamp at Joann's and just had to have it. So here is my
card for this weeks challenge..
I know this card is suppose to be bling, so I added
a small black pearl in the center of my flower.. I
couldn't get any major bling to work. My sentiment is
I love doing black and white images..

space and  let your imagination create something

PS-Easter Bling

It is hard to believe that Easter is just
a couple of weeks away.. Where does the time go..
This week I have chosen to use
a design from Stitchy Bear Designs
Called Easter Lily.
The cross is actually paper pieced and so
are the lilies. I used my Spellbinders
Parisian Motifs for the corners.. I used
the Labels Twenty for my frames and a
leaf die. Each frame was dusted with
a co-ordinating shading ink.

The sentiment just says
"God Loves You"
and I so believe that.

Hope to see you over at

with a touch of grey.. I have done two cards since I
really liked the combo..This first one is done
with Lucy. She is from Robyn's Fetish Images

And here is the second one that I did

slides out to open the card. Really enjoyed doing
this one as well.

crafty creations. We are waiting to see what

SC- Favorite Image.

This week we are sharing our favorite image from the
Stamping Chef.
I have to say that I don't have just one favorite. I love
everyone of them..But this is the one that I
chose for this week.

I love this cute little Irish gal. Her sentiment
says it all. LOL>. I used all scrap papers again
for this card. My goal is to get rid of allot of this
scrappy stuff. I used 1 sizzix die for her frame
and the sticker is from Jolene's.

Please take the time to drop in on my
fellow designers and see what they
have created this week.

Hope to see your creations and that
you will come back and join us again.
