This digi was gotten off the internet and I coloured it with

Saturday Craft & Chat - Designers Calendars Cart

I think this is my most used cart. My sister, our friend and myself use these every
month to make our new Monthly scrap book page. It has been really fun creating for not
only myself, but matching ones for them.
With two different fonts and coordinating shadows, you don’t have to limit yourself to just calendars—the creative possibilities are endless
The overlay sheet  is easy to use. It gives you the option of making up to an 8"
calendar grid, the months and if you chose the days of the week. It  also has the
major holidays, and coordinating images.. . With two different fonts and coordinating shadows, you don’t have to limit yourself to just calendars—the creative possibilities are endless.
I have been using this cart for over a year now and have found NOTHING that I do
not like about it, Now I'll show you some of the calendar pages that I have created.

What we do, is make the calendar page and then send the remain scraps along with
them so that the others can coordinate the matching page with some of the same colors
The middle one for June, I did both sides since the other two didn't have the dies or
the right colors to match, so I gave them both sides.
Like I said I really love the cart and if your a scrap booking person and like to
keep track of the months that you have done things, this is the perfect way to do it.
I hope that you enjoyed my  designs and will go out and get this cart. It's actually on Sale right
now at Cricut.com.

Have fun.

ME4Y Weekly challenge- 3 colors

This weeks challenge is about making a card using 3 colors.
Black and white can be used as accent colors. I love using
DIGI's especially when I can get them free. So while surfing
around on the net, I found the adorable little gal and chose
her for my challenge.
My colors are Yellow, Pink and Purple. I just love this little gal
and her blowing bubbles.I used my Copic markers to color
her in and  Imade my frame border using Pink and Yellow
and just happened to have these little purple buttons in my stash and had
to use them. The brighter scalloped strip I cut using my new Martha Stewart
line punch.
Here's a better close up of this precious little gal.
Don't ya just wanna pinch her cheeks.
The sentiment is from my stash as well, from a baby
packet that I got along time ago. Here's a final look
at my finished card
Hope you will join us for this weeks 3 color challenge and
thanks for stopping by. You can see all of the Design Teams

4th of July with Bling

It's hard to believe that it's July already but here we are. This weeks challenge
was to make a 4th of July card using lots of BLING. That caught my eye
right away. I love, love, LOVE BLING. My digi is from .http://www.bugaboostamps.com/.
I love this little gal. I was able to match my paper colors with my Copic markers
that I used to color here with.

I was actually able to go online and find this Pledge of Alligence
banner to use on my card.  I was so excited at how great it turned out.
At the bottom I ran a piece of blue ribbon with glitter along the edges
to add my glitzie stars for more bling.

For added bling I placed red and blue sticker bling, and
the 4th of July tab is from Joleen's'
This card really does say Happy 4th of July America.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will join us
at Made Especially For You's weekly challenge.

Welcome to today's Craft and Chat. Today I am  using 3
Martha Stewart punches shown here.
The square one is new and doesn't come within a set, but I loved how it
made my card look.
I started with a 5" X 5" black square.
Then I cut the square into a circle.
The circle is 4 3/4" in diameter. From there I
folded the circle in half to find the center then layed it
back on my measuring grid.
Here you can see that I have drawn 6 lines for an even spacing.
This is where the fun comes in. Using my corner punch on  a
circle can be tricky. Since your not using the wings on your corner punch
you have to slide your paper in OVER the top of the wings. So, at each
line that I drew I centered it on the punch and cut. As you can see I got my spacing
off just alittle but nothing that can't be hidden. :) So this is what the finished
circle looks like. Now here's what I did next.
To make my doily I cut the left over circle off. Love this effect.
It takes alittle time but I think it is worth it. This corner punch is from my
set of Lacy punches. Now for the center which is a totally different design
I punched out the center with the square punch. I just love it.
I used my border punch for make my lace strip
You can really do allot with this punch and then I
took the flower punch and punched it twice, once with yellow
and once with white.
You'll see that floral piece in just a minute. I found this really spring fun paper and placed
my lattice lace punch along the side.
So here is the finished card. I off set the lace flower so you could see the
yellow since they are both the same size. Placed my thank you on top. To finish
it off, I had a spare swirl that I layed down before placing my new lacy doily.
And topped it off with a beautiful butterfly. With this technique you will never have to
buy a doily again.
Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to join us over at Made Especially For You for

Challenge 223 - Patriotic!

To me Patriotic has always revolved around the fireworks
and family. So for my card this week I made a card
 to represent just that.
I loved this DIGI and thought about how my boys were when we would celebrate the 4th
with a picnic on the beach and fireworks to end the day.
The banner is from Joleen's and I used my glitter glue to make the first works really
stand out.
I found this Let Freedom Ring sentiment on a free site, added the stars for more bling.
Here's one more look at my card.
I am also entering this card at
